Presented with an oftentimes difficult project, due to challenging groundwater conditions, RJV team members showed their passion and dedication to their craft and for their client. They installed over 6,500 feet of new 36” ductile iron water main for the MWRA – providing the Authority with a redundant main and ensuring their customers reliable and quality water service for years to come.  This project included two locations where pipes were installed by methods alternative to open cut excavation.   Through teamwork between RJV and their subcontractors (GVC Construction, M&P Pipe Jacking, Case Boring), mains were installed under Route 95 Southbound and Northbound in Westwood by open face pipe jacking and under the MBTA railway on Rustcraft Road in Dedham by auger boring.
