One of our crews has mobilized to Harrison Avenue to preform test pits and begin installation of a new 30” water main to upgrade an aging water system that dates back to 1915. This new pipeline will be the source of reliable clean water to the residents and businesses of the South End.
Crews continue to install a new water main on Harrison Avenue in the South End, battling against difficult existing conditions, and continuing to make steady progress. Crews will carry on with the installation down Harrison Avenue and then turn the corner to head up Perry Street.
